WELLNESS CLUB

Healing Minds | Building Hope | Creating Wellness

ABOUT US

The Wellness Club is an evidence-based, holistic initiative by the Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH), designed as a recovery-oriented, CHIME-informed psychosocial framework. Grounded in the biopsychosocial model, humanistic and positive psychology, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles, it promotes holistic mental well-being by addressing the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of health. The program supports individuals in progressing from isolation and stigma toward integration, empowerment, and meaningful participation in society, enabling them to live purposeful and fulfilling lives.

Through a range of therapeutic, recreational, and awareness-based activities, including art and music therapy, mindfulness, group counselling, community engagement, and educational programs, the club enhances emotional well-being, skills, self-confidence, and social reintegration, in line with established research on recovery and social support.

Guided by a recovery-oriented, strengths-based approach, the Wellness Club empowers individuals to build resilience, regain independence, and reconnect with society, while also supporting staff through wellness, stress management, and team-building initiatives.

By integrating clinical insight with community-based practices, the club fosters a space where care, hope, and healing lead to sustainable recovery and improved quality of life for all.
